Written by Gautam Mehra and Mehul Suri, Teen Thay Bhai is one of the most incoherent screenplays to have come out in a long long time. The storytelling lacks direction and there is hardly any density to the vague plot. Also director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba seems terribly confused about the tone he wants to impart to certain scenes. For instance, at first glimpse you never realize whether the confrontation between dadaji and the eldest brother was supposed to be serious or spoofy. At times, jokes are stretched beyond their expiry date. And after the horrible horseplay, it's silly of the director to end the film with a moral message on brotherhood. The sundry sensibilities just don't gel.
