Trip Reflections: 2 « Called to Lead 2010

A great thing that day was just seeing the celebration of the new house and really being there to tangibly see the difference the project had made in their lives. They also held a small service in the house which was really cool to be part of. It was weird in that obviously i stood out, but it was so amazing and honestly an honor to have them look straight at me and given their entire attention; it was again that craving that really stood out. It seemed as though they were eager and ready to grab hold of what I or the pastors would say. I think the most hysterical moment was when I asked them if they had any questions for me, and the first question was if I was married. LOL then the following why not, followed by they'll pray God sends me a husband soon. (ROFL!!)
